The Boat Yard No 2 by David Hazelwood (1932 -1994) - Made circa 1978. Approximate size of the frame: 30.2cm x 40.3cm, frame 2.2cm thick. Signed Hazelwood to the bottom right. David Hazelwood, The Boat Yard No 2 to the reverse. Also old gallery sticker with red dot. Some wear to backboard corners, edges. David Reginald Hazelwood was born in Ipswich 1932. A founder member of the Suffolk Group and he also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition; International Art Fairs from 1985 including in Basle, Chicago, Cologne, and Frankfurt and held one man shows at the Medici Gallery. In London, Bedford College and in Galerie Peerlings, Krefeld, Germany and Galerie Krakeslatt, Bromölla, Sweden also holding one-man exhibitions at Ipswich and Colchester and elsewhere in East Anglia.

His work is represented in the Victoria & Albert Museum and many other institutions. In 1995 a tribute show was held at Christchurch Mansion.
