Robert Mason (b. 1946) Abstract Mixed Media Counterdrawing VIII Dated 1975

Abstract Mixed Media & Collage. Titled : Counterdrawing VIII - 1975. Mason studied at Hornsey College of Art and The British School at Rome. He won first prize in the Bayer Herlandschaften (UK) International in 1974 and second prize in the International Drawing Biennale in 1977. Group Exhibitions include Serpentine Gallery, 1973; The British Art Show, tour, 1979; British Drawing, Hayward Gallery, 1982; John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, 1987; School of London, Odette Gilbert Gallery, 1989; and Recent Acquisitions, British Museum, 1996. A beautiful work, very accomplished and presented in its original steel gallery frame. Mixed Media & collage with texture. Signed, titled & dated 1975.
