Original Modern Art Silk Cloth Mixed Media With Watercolour Painting Signed
This is an outstanding piece of Original Modern Art, which is signed, however, I do not know who the artist is. It appears to be pieces of straight cut Silk applied to watercolour paper and then with Watercolour or gouache applied to the edges, producing the effect you see.
The artist has then signed it to the bottom right and dated it 1998. She and her husband Tony, became a distinguished couple in the arts and media world and she was a collector who had pieces by some well known British and overseas artists and if anyone recognised the artist by the work or signature I would be obliged if you contacted me. It is mounted within a contemporary light coloured recessed wooden frame and is behind glass ready to hang and enjoy.
