Original mixed media painting, depicting an illustrated map of Torbay, created as an original commission for a postcard. This excellent piece, created on'Windsor & Newton's' Fashion Plate Board, appears to date back to the 1960s, it has very strong and vibrant colours and has been framed more recently.

It is entitled'Torbay Queen of the English Riviera', and, along with figures besides humorous quotes, it features some of the most popular places of interest in the Torbay area, including Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, Buckfast Abbey, Compton Castle, Totnes, Stoke Gabriel, Dittisham, Cockington, Goodrington, Thatcher Rock, Berry Head and Sharkham Point. Framed, glazed and ready to hang, in a gilt-trimmed, dark-wooden moulded frame. Painting size 45.5cm x 32.5cm approx.
