Original mid century abstract expressionist female portrait in a period frame in m ixed media of w atercolour and poster paint on black quality art paper. A very vibrant and emotional artwork. Height 60 cm x width 46 cm. 23 ½" x 18"; i mage size approx. Height 45 cm x width 32 cm or 17 ¾ x 12 5/8.
Probably inspired by Swedish artist Bengt Lindstrom and American abstract artist George McNeil. The work came from an Estate sale of a Hampstead (England) gentleman.
Frame offered as used and of no commercial value to save quibbling. Glass removed but intact if collected.
