Description : My influence for this work was the emotion I witnessed of an old gentleman at a Remembrance Day parade. When I created this work, I wanted the observer to feel what this face may have witnessed. Materials: To create this piece I reworked a digital image, using a mixture of oil pastels and pencils alongside acrylic paint onto hot press paper bonded on cotton canvas board.
