Mini Vintage Mid-century Framed Mixed Media Painting Abstract In Blue

A small yet very impactful mixed media composition with abstract qualities. Painted in a semi-abstract manner and with a strong focus on colour and brushwork, we can perhaps make out what appears to be three figures crossing a bridge over a body of water.

Although the artist has worked with a restrained colour palette, the intense use of blue that takes up the centre of the painting is the most prominent colour that commands our attention. Long sweeping brushstrokes have been rhythmically executed, and overall the painting is very well balanced and evokes a very satisfying sense of calm.
