It is an original, beautiful and modern painting, acrilyc on paper "d'arches" (mixed media), gilded, by the listed Greek/Russian painter Yanni Posnakoff, an of the best works of the artist, signed lower right, under protective glass. It depict, a angelic form (one of favorite subjects of the artist), that symbolically holds, in one hand a heart and in the other hand the sun. Dimensions of the painting 75 X 56 cm (or 29 4/8 X 22 ") and with the wooden gilded frame 84 X 64 cm (or 33 1/8 X 25 2/8") and weight 3,900 gr. Is in very good condition.

In 1965, after having worked as a naval architect for seven years, he devoted himself entirely to painting. He attended classes at the New York School of Visual Arts and the Art Student's League of New York.

With subtle design, sensitivity and childishness and a bright color scale, he painted his works which are inspired by motherhood, family life, children, modern history and the social problems, but his favorite subject was the angels. Has designed and carried out events with the participation of children and adults. In 1988 he founded the Angel Gallery in New York City. He has presented his work in over thirty solo exhibitions in the USA and in Greece as well as in many group exhibitions.

Artworks by Posnakoff are in the American College of Greece, Athens Museum of Modern Art, Thessaloniki and the Vorres Museum, Peania and in other private collections.
