Glyn Morgan (1926-2015) Torchbearer/Centaur mixed media painting c1965/68
"Torchbearer/Centaur" mixed media, ink, crayons, bodycolour, c1965/68, Unsigned- offered in good original condition. Unframed measures 22" x 15". Full provenance will be provided to the purchaser. He showed early artistic talent and was enrolled into Cardiff Art School in 1942, where he was taught and hugely influenced by Ceri Richards and who introduced him to the work of Picasso and other modernists. He first exhibited in Group Shows from 1952- early on being included in Contemporary Welsh Painting and Sculpture, National Museum of Wales, Cardiff 1955 and Festival of Wales 1956.
