This is an Interesting Unframed Original MIXED MEDIA Painting on Quality Art Paper, by Well Known Australian Listed Artist GEOFFREY DYER. It is signed lower right and was painted in 1970. It is titled "BEACH AND LANDSCAPE TASMANIA".

Studied at Tasmania School of Art, Hobart, 1965-68. Head of Art Department Burnie Technical College 1977-79. Has been painting Full Time since 1980.

Study tours in UK, Europe, USA in 1983, 1985 and 1987. He has had many Exhibitions around Australia, including Brisbane Galleries, Launceston 1970.

Salamanca Place Hobart , many times since 1970. Barry Stern Gallery Sydney, 1982, 85. Gould Galleries, South Yarra, 1988.

He has been a Finalist in the Wynne Prize ten times, and won the Archibald Prize in 2003. His art is represented in most Regional and State Gallery Collections, and many Private Collections around Australia and Overseas.

It is in Excellent Condition, and measures, 30 1/4 inch by 22 inch, (76.8cm x 55.9cm). It would make an Ideal Addition to any Good Collection of Fine Original Australian Art.
