Eugene Press Modern British Artist - Desert Landscape Abstract Form Mixed Media. Eugene Press originally worked mainly as a commercial artist and illustrator.

Press was originally born at Sutton-on-Trent in 1936 and for a time studied at St Martin's Central and Northampton Art College. He also had private tuition from Sutherland, Mahoney and James Fitton. A beautiful modernist painting, signed in monogram EP and a label to the reverse including title.

There is no doubt that the landscape is expertly painted - The work is very professional and has an incredible warmth. Frame is original and I'd say possibly mid 20th Century (has aged related wear). 20 inches x 24 inches approx framed.
