EMILE DEKEL FRENCH ARTIST MIXED MEDIA 3D ABSTRACT PAINTING OF A CROWD IN LUCITE CASE, SIGNED AND DATED 1990. Emile Dekel was born and raised in Lyon , France , and traveled to Israel to continue his studies.

He became a member of a Kibbutz and was involved n the performing arts for several years. He then moved on to Syracuse University for graduate study in Industrial Arts. Dekel was commissioned by the government of Israel to do a research study on World Design Society of America magazine in 1972.

He then enrolled in special courses at New York Institute of Fine Arts, where he developed his own technique for intaglio carvings. This piece measures 32.5 INCHES x 44.5 INCHES x 4.5 INCHES signed 1990.
