This beautiful multilayered butterfly with white diamond base color paint and with his one of a kind metal scoring of the aluminum at multiple angles makes light directed on the panel at any angle gives it new dimension to the metal as well as the sparkle of the metal flake white and color paints on the aluminum panel/canvas.

Original Art and I personally have not seen another one like it. Ive seen multiple tiny butterfly options and once a large 36x48 panel in white with multiple smaller butterflys, but none like this rare singular large butterfly on white diamond metal flake base color that absolutely sparkles! I have 3 DeRubeis originals, but this was collected with a prior girlfriend before I got married and my wife doesnt like that its associated with a previous relationship being the ex was a butterfly fanatic. The beautiful butterfly on white background is what originally drew me to it of all the gallery had to offer at the time as well as rare being DeRubeis rarely uses white as a base color. Id rather see it go to a home and displayed on a wall and not down in a closet where its doesnt get a chance to shine and I can use the proceeds to go to something my wife likes as well.

Before his work was featured with many other different artists from all over the world, but with his success apparently there are now stand alone Derubeis Galleries in Hi, Ca, Nv, Az, FL. Thats when I was informed by the DeRubeis Gallery Director that my piece is considered a Unique.

All DeRubeiss artworks are original one of a kind because of the process he uses creating his work, but apparently when any new originals that are labeled with the Unique moniker are extremely rare!
