My abstract paintings & collages are characterised by evocative colours & refined textures - intuitive, poetic, fragile, distilled through memories & experiences of time and place. My work is outwardly influenced by rustic & rural architecture, resourcefulness or frugality. Philosophies that embrace beauty in imperfection & slow decay, such as wabi sabi, also inspires my work.
I create my abstract art using mixed media techniques - painting, printing and collage.
