Was an American children's author, political cartoonist, illustrator, poet, animator, screenwriter, and filmmaker. He is known for his work writing and illustrating several books under the pen name Doctor Seuss.

The Cat in the Hat' and'Green Eggs and Ham' were among his most famous works. Original signed artwork (on stretched canvas) of one of his more famous characters "Yertle The Turtle" done personally by Doctor Seuss. Item is around 10 X 12. Very rare find because it's on canvas rather than illustration paper. Seuss did do paintings on canvas but this is fine marker on canvas for the most part with color acrylic.
