Wladislaw Popielarczyk studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland. In 1965 he opened a gallery, organizing over 40 exhibitions of his work.
He also presented his art in group exhibitions, both in Poland and other countries. In addition to painting, he dealt with happenings, poetry and composing. He also designed and completed over 25 works in public facilities, including frescoes, mosaics, reliefs, and stained glass. His artworks are displayed in the National Museum in Warsaw, Pozna and Gdask, Czstochowa Museum, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Taides Museum in Oulu, Museum of Modern Art in Miami, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and Palm Spring Desert Museum. This art also went to private collections founded by Dwight Eisenhower, Urho Kekkonen, Sukarno, Charles de Gaulle, and Paul-Henri Spaak.
