Was an American children's author, political cartoonist, illustrator, poet, animator, screenwriter, and filmmaker. He is known for his work writing and illustrating several books under the pen name Doctor Seuss. The Cat in the Hat' and'Green Eggs and Ham' were among his most famous works. Original signed artwork (on stretched canvas) of one of his more famous characters "The Grinch" done personally by Doctor Seuss. Item is around 10 X 12.

Very rare find because it's on canvas rather than illustration paper. Seuss did do paintings on canvas but this is fine marker on canvas for the most part with color acrylic. The other three sides of canvas are fine. The canvas at top can be repaired but you probably should consult with someone who is a expert in canvas stretching. The damage at top side of canvas does not affect the actual artwork in any way.

Seuss signed the canvas at the bottom and added "Best Wishes" at the top. Have been collecting autographed memorabilia since 1978. Item is guaranteed for life.
