Cat on a Ledge, Mixed Media (looks like watercolor and/or ink and pastels) 9-1/2" x 6-1/2" sight size (framed size: 14-1/2" x 12") signed lower right: Bailey. This was given by Bailey as a gift to a friend in 1996. The back has his letterhead which says: Dear Mahgret, Ginny says Don't Open til Sept 14! Roy Bailey was born in Bangor, Maine in 1933. He graduated from the New York's School of Visual Arts in 1959 and studied at the Pratt Graphic Art Center.
Bailey has made Nantucket his home since he was twenty-seven. Bailey paints in both oils and watercolors.
