His list of fans includes the European art intelligentsia, among them Franco Maria Ricci, a major publisher of art books and magazines in Italy, and are purportedly owned by dignitaries such as Stanley Marcus, of Neiman Marcus fame, Armani and Bill Clinton. Sobrero told the Chicago Tribune in an interview that it took him two weeks on average to finish each library once the materials, which he sourced from around Italy, were in front of him.
