Well known for his wooden assemblages of his stork New York locales his works of Katz Deli are among his most sought after and highly collected.

This piece was constructed in 2005 and is signed by the artist on both the front and the back. His interest in creating art from the Depression era comes from a respect for a time when people suffered. Nobody was jealous of anyone else because no one had nothing, Harry says.

Growing up in poor Brooklyn neighborhoods, Harry worked as a teenager backstage at the old Paramount Theater designing movie posters, then moved on to building movie sets and working in the entertainment industry.
