Original 1985 Benjamin Borax'COOL' ABSTRACT Collage Vintage Rare. This is really a wonderful original. I bought this piece without knowing anything about the artist. I just thought it was an incredible abstract work.

This is one of the artist's earlier works. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included his biography below. This is a wonderful mixed media measuring 49 x 31 inches. As an explanation of my work, simply put, I seek to bring about harmonious relationships between shape, color and line to obtain a homogenous arrangement that holds together.

I use collage, both paper and cloth, mixed with acrylic paint, pastel and other media. Collage is particularly helpful, because it quickly establishes interesting shapes and textures, as well as forming new planes, giving an additional sense of depth to parts of the picture.

I also attempt at times to create curious shapes, directions, and color effects to obtain something different for the viewer, as the unusual world the painter tries to show.
