This is a brilliant creation of outside folk art made by Rafael Rodriguez Cojas of Mexico City. It is a large retablo shrine featuring a three dimensional scene of a skeleton attacking a man with a group of bouncing glass evil eyes above them. The figures have been hand cut from tin, painted and set inside a delightful box shrine to be hung on a wall or placed on a flat surface. The writing gives thanks that the man survived the strange ordeal. This work measures approximately 19 1/2 in height, 12 in width by 4 1/2 in depth and is very heavy.
