Epstein worked at the Delgado Museum of Art as a registrar and curator, traveled abroad in Europe and Mexico where he published a volume of poetry, and exhibited at the Downtown Gallery in 1961. The Delgado Museum in New Orleans held a retrospective exhibit of his work in 1964 following his premature death at the age of 44. Epstein's paintings are extremely rare. This painting is signed lower right. It is signed and dated verso and titled Presence at the Window. " It measures 20.25" x 25 (painting size) and is in good condition.
