Internationally acclaimed painter Dave McKean is best known for his mixed media covers created for Neil Gaiman's iconic series. McKean created this painting featuring the lead character in that series, Dream of Endless, AKA Morpheus, AKA the Sandman. The artist executed this work in mixed media and collage on board. McKean produced many incredible covers for the 75-issue series and its many collected editions, but very few of them actually feature Dream as most of Mckean's masterpieces are more abstract creations. Note: There is minor wear at the lower corners (more notably at the lower right where there is a bend under the artist's signature), but this does little to detract from the visual impact of this piece.
