Very nice historic vintage art work. Pa stel & Paint Circa 1960's. American Listed Artist, Illustrator, Editorial Cartoonist, and Painter. Birth place: NYC - Addresses: N. & Florida Trained as a painter and attended the Phoenix Art Institute and the Grand Central School of Art.

In 1955, King became editorial cartoonist for the New York Daily News after working as Rube Goldbergs assistant. King did illustration for books, movies and advertising as well as cartoons. Cartoons and painting was his greatest gratification. He received over 20 awards.

The National Cartoonist Society Editorial Cartoon Award for 1968 as well as several Freedoms Foundation awards. He was a member of the Association of American of Editorial Cartoonists. Much of Warren Kings cartoons and artwork is in the collection of the Syracuse University Library.

Original art works are on view by appointment. Very good condition considering age. This item would look great as part of any collection.
